Do you handle permits and inspections?

Yes. We pull all required permits and coordinate every inspection with the City of San Diego, the County, or your local city (Santee, El Cajon, La Mesa and others) through final sign-off, so your project is fully legal and documented.

What areas do you serve?

We're based in Santee and serve East County and all of San Diego County, including El Cajon, La Mesa, Lakeside, Spring Valley, Alpine, Poway, Scripps Ranch, Del Cerro, San Carlos, Tierrasanta, Mission Valley, North Park, Clairemont, La Jolla and the City of San Diego.

Do you build ADUs and garage conversions?

Yes. We build detached ADUs, attached ADUs and garage conversions from permits through final inspection, including framing, electrical, plumbing, insulation and finishes. We can build from your architect's plans or coordinate the design and engineering for you.

Do you take on commercial projects?

Yes. We handle commercial tenant improvements, roofing, stucco and exterior restoration, and ongoing maintenance for churches, offices, retail spaces and property managers, including multi-phase work for repeat clients.

Are estimates free? Do you offer construction consulting?

Yes. Estimates for remodels, ADUs, additions, roofing and commercial work are free. We also offer paid construction consulting if you want an experienced general contractor to review plans, bids or a project in progress before you commit.

Who will be on my job site?

Owner Oliver Erbes manages every project personally. Specialty trades are performed by licensed, insured subcontractors working under written subcontracts and our direct supervision, so you always have one point of contact.

Do you do small repairs or handyman jobs?

Our focus is complete projects: kitchen and bathroom remodels, ADUs, room additions, roof replacements, stucco and siding, and commercial construction. For small repairs we may be able to refer you to a trusted local tradesperson.

Foremost Building Solutions is owned and operated by Oliver Erbes, a licensed California General Building Contractor with over a decade of hands-on construction experience. Before founding Foremost, Oliver worked as a Superintendent on large-scale commercial projects — coordinating crews and subcontractors, managing budgets, pulling permits, and delivering on schedule. That's the level of structure and accountability he brings to every residential and commercial project today.
